Lovely old world restaurant with classic dishes well cooked and served with efficiency and a smile. Sole was a standout. Fillet was excellent. A dinner experience to be recommended.

Thoroughly impressed. We ordered the mussels, I had the lamb and my partner had the duck. Everything was cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were insanely large, the value of this establishment is incredible. The service beat the Michelin star (Homestead Cottage) we went to the night previous by miles.

The atmosphere was traditional, it was mostly middle aged / more older crowd but felt trust worthy for a local and more authentic experience. However, the service was vibrant and not stuffy.

Definitely a gem in this little town.

Greeted by friendly staff, does get busy so do reserve your table ahead of time.

The lamb shank is juicy and well prepared,
The seafood is very fresh and tasty.
Excellent desserts and good proper Guinness pints to end the feast.

It's connected to the pub, so you can continue at the pub once you are done with dinner!! Win win, Enjoy!

To the staff that took care of us, thank you for the warm service and we look forward to dropping by again soon.
